Hazard Statements
EYES AND SKIN: Corrosive to eyes and skin upon direct or prolonged contact. The Dermal LD50 of product is 1.1 g/kg (rabbit). INHALATION: Vapors of the concentrate of this product may cause irritation of mucous membranes, headaches, irritation of the eyes, throat and nose and drowsiness. INGESTION: Causes immediate burning pain of the mouth, throat and abdomen; swelling of the larynx; muscle paralysis affecting the ability to breathe; circulatory shock; and/or convulsions. Oral LD50 is 1050 mg/kg, may be fatal if ingested.
Precautionary Statements
EYES: Immediately flush eyes with water for 15 minutes and get medical attention. SKIN: Immediately wash thoroughly with water to remove product. Remove and wash contaminated clothes before reuse. INHALATION: Remove from area to fresh air. INGESTION: If swallowed, immediately give 3-4 glasses of milk (if unavailable give water). Do NOT induce vomiting. Call a physician. Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage. Measures against circulatory shock, respiratory depression and convulsion may be needed.
